Curradine Barns Wedding {Rebecca and Rob}

Autumn – lots of my couples choose autumn because of the explosion of colours of the leaves – Rebecca and Rob’s wedding at Curradine Barns near Shrawley was kind of like a summer wedding! It was beautifully warm and sunny and let’s just say that autumn was postponed for awhile.

Curradine Barns is one of my favourite venues – it’s laid back and intimate so a perfect place for a wedding. It’s also surrounded by stunning countryside as well. They also have amazing staff – and food too!

I started of photographing Rebecca over at the hairdressers in Sutton Coldfield before heading down to Rob’s parents house to photograph him and the groomsmen. It was then onwards to Curradine Barn to continue photographing Rebecca, the beautiful dress and flowers and the other proceedings.

After the ceremony, there was a drinks reception before I took the couple away for 15 minutes to get some beautiful wedding photographs of them. I always advise my clients to put aside 15-30mins in the timeline of the wedding proceedings for couple photographs. Not only does it give the time to get some great photographs – it also gives the couple time together as well!

The day was made more special by Rob’s sister planning a sneaky surprise in the car park in the evening – all I’ll say was that cocktails and cigars featured heavily!
