John and Becky’s Wedding at Hotel Du Vin Birmingham
John and Becky were married 2010 – but I never got around around to updating the blog with some details of their wedding until now!
They were married at Hotel Du Vin in Birmingham and I was honoured to be their wedding photographer. Becky wore a lovely vintage style wedding dress whilst John and Noah were in suits. Hotel Du Vin in Birmingham is a wonderful venue as it has so many aspects that just lend themselves to wedding photographs. It is dark in places – so I was helped on this wedding by a pair of Elinchrom Quadra lights for some of the shots. I could have probably just about got away with using a couple of speedlights – but it’s slightly better to have too much light with you than not enough! Anyway – an absolutely fabulous wedding and a great venue.
