I know its nearly spring but it doesn’t feel like it today so thought I can still blog one of our winter weddings.
The first of three Christmas week weddings was Emma and Jason’s at Hogarths Hotel. We arrived early to spend some time photographing Emma and her bridesmaids getting ready. The pink fizz was already flowing and all was very calm. Before they knew it, it was time for the girls to get into their navy Two Birds bridesmaid dresses and Emma into her gorgeous Pronovias dress from the Wedding Club.
Emma and Jason opted for a cosy ceremony in Hogarth’s Music Room followed by a reception in the marquee. There was a subtle Christmas theme in the decor with snowflakes on the cake and place settings and tables named after reindeers! The weather wasn’t particularly Christmasy – it rained most of the day – but there was a brief break in the rain to allow group photographs outside. We then made the most of the interiors in the hotel for some wedding portrait photographs of the couple before they sat down for their reception.
It was a lovely day for a fab couple who made us very jealous by jetting off for a honeymoon in Australia – the perfect end to a winter wedding!
