I had the pleasure of helping fellow photographer Marc Byram at a charity ball in Nottingham last night. The ball was in aid of Brad’s Cancer Foundation , which provides equipment and specialist care for teenage cancer patients in the East Midlands and also supports the development of dedicated teenage cancer units through the Teenage Cancer Trust.
The ball, which was held at Colwick Hall Hotel in Nottingham, was a huge success. The evening had a Hollywood theme, with an auction which raised over £5000 on the night, gaming tables, live music and a DJ plus a three course dinner. One of the highlights of the evening was Sven Goran Eriksson, who took time out of his busy schedule to say a few words to the guests, and also pose for photograph opportunities with the guests. This did mean a busy time for myself and Marc as we were printing photographs on the evening, but all in all, well worth it.
A great evening for a very worthy cause!
