Portraits using just a window
Following on from my post a couple of weeks ago, I said I’d post an example of a series of pictures taken using just natural window light (and some blinds!).

Naturally Lit Portrait Using Window Light
I decided to try something different for the final print, in that I’ve put together a montage in the same way that I’d put together a digitial wedding album.
Speaking of wedding albums, it’s been interesting to hear people’s comments on albums and what they like. It seems that traditional albums which hold prints under the mounts are still as popular as the digital albums which companies like Queensberry produce. The quality of digital albums has come a long way in the last couple of years – and it means that as a photographer I can get far more creative in terms of page layouts and styles than I can in traditional album. It all comes down to want clients want, but I do like it when I can get a little creativity in there!
