Pushing Photography

It’s been awhile since I let everyone know what I’ve been upto – so I thought I’d bring everyone upto date on developments.

I’m a member of the SWPP (Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers) which is one of the largest societies for photographers. Not only do they provide business help and information to photographers, they also host trainining days and seminars to photographers.

I’ve been fortunate enough along with 5 other photographers to be given the opportunity to learn with one of the country’s top photographers, Damian McGillicuddy. Damian is working to help us to develop our photographic skills and achieve our own personnal goals which in my case is to gain the first qualification level of the SWPP and BIPP. I’ve been looking for a group of fellow photographers to bounce ideas off and learn from – and having recently met my fellow collegues on our first meeting – I think I’ve found a great learning environment. I’ll keep my blog updated with developments and maybe even throw some photographs in :)
