I thought it was about time I made it a little easier to show people how I work. It’s not easy having to choose a wedding photographer in the first place – especially when generally the first time you see them work is on your big day. This is why I generally always try and do a pre-wedding shoot with the couple before the day – so that they get used to me and I can get used to them. However, useful this is, it still doesn’t show the couple how I work on their wedding day – i.e. knowing what is happening virtually every single minute, organising guests for confetti shots, taking formal photographs etc.
So, following from a wedding I shot in the summer at St Anne’s church in Moseley, Birmingham – I’ve put together some video clips of me covering a wedding and the style of photographs that I shot on the day.
Hopefully you will all find it useful and give you a small insight into how I shoot a wedding. I’ll be posting some more videos later on this month as I cover the run up to a winter wedding and the preparation that I do for the big day!
