Our Approach

Our wedding packages include a pre-wedding photography session. This gives all of us the opportunity to get to know each other a little more before your big day. For those people who aren’t used to having their photograph taken, it’s a great time to get use to being in front of the camera.  It also allows you to see how I work in capturing beautiful wedding photographs.

The pre-wedding photograph session can take place at a location near to you, at the wedding venue itself or my studio.  My studio is based in Fazeley Studios which gives me a wide variety of locations to use from gritty urban environments to beautiful indoor locations.  Should you want to glam it up a little, we can also provide a make-up artist to make you look a million dollars!

Before the wedding day we’ll go through your plan for the day and discuss any group photographs you want on the day.

On the wedding day itself I’ll be there to follow and photograph everything! I try to approach the natural events of the day by letting them take their course, but making sure that you get the photographs that you want! I start with the bride and her family getting ready – along with the details of the day such as your shoes and dress. Where possible and distance allows, I’ll photograph the guys getting ready. Once at the venue I’ll speak to the person conducting the ceremony to agree what is and isn’t possible in terms of photography and then from there work discretely to capture the ceremony. After the ceremony we capture some candid moments of your family and friends congratulating you, before slipping away discreetly for short time to capture  your unique ‘Bride & Groom’ shots. This gives you a period of time to relax away from your guests and to actually enjoy your wedding day, whilst your guests are enjoying the reception.

Following the wedding breakfast, I’ll stay to photograph your evening guests arriving and your first dance, getting great natural images of your friends and family.

After the wedding day and whilst you’re on honeymoon, I’ll begin to edit your images so that they will be ready for you to view within four weeks of your wedding date. We’ll schedule a time for you to come to our studio and view your wedding photographs on our large screen TV.  At this point I’ll ask you to highlight images that you definitely want in your album so that I can start the design process.

Once you’ve seen the album proofs and we’ve finalised any changes your album will be printed and bound. Your album should be ready within 4-6 weeks of us finalising any changes to the design.
