An Autumn Wedding in Birmingham {Rhian and Phil}

On a very cold but gorgeously sunny autumn day we had the pleasure of photographing Rhian and Phil’s wedding at St Pauls Church in the Jewellery Quarter, followed by a reception at Fazeley Studios

The day began with us meeting Rhian and her bridesmaids at Oliver James salon, just off St Paul’s Square, where the girls were having their hair and make up done. It was then back to Malmaison hotel for final preparations.  Meanwhile Phil and his ushers were getting ready at home in the Jewellery Quarter so it was only a short walk for them to St Pauls Church.

After a lovely ceremony, we quickly did some of the group photographs outside the church.  Given it was so cold,  the idea to serve tea and biscuits on the church balcony was very welcomed by the guests, while we did some pictures with just Rhian and Philip, making use of the fallen leaves for some lovely autumnal wedding pictures. Everyone then headed off to Fazeley Studios for a reception for fabulous food, drinking and dancing.  And as it was very nearly fireworks night – we couldn’t resist doing something with sparklers at the end of the night!
