A Stylish Fazeley Wedding {Simon and Nikki}

Every wedding I photograph is different – it can be the same venue that I’ve photographed tens of times before – but each time I photograph a different wedding, the venue takes on the identity of the couple. It’s like that with the rather lovely Fazeley Studios wedding. Because I’m based in one of the offices in Fazeley, I see the venue on a very regular basis – in fact I got married there as well – so it gives me a rather unique insight into the place because I get to see it across different times of the day, seeing when light falls and doesn’t – and also getting different ideas for photographs.

Simon and Nikki’s wedding at Fazeley brought a beautifully styled day in that they kept the decoration in the winter garden very simple – and then contrasted that with the theme of the Mad Hatter’s tea party for the wedding breakfast. Everything from Nikki’s dress to her trainers (one of the three sets of shoes she wore), the decoration and the venue fitted beautifully with want the couple wanted for their day which was enjoyed by all their friends and family.

I love telling the story of a couple’s wedding day in images – so, without further a-do, here’s Simon and Nikki’s.
