Digbeth Engagement Session {Ben and Liz}
Ben and Liz recently got married at Fazeley Studios – and I shot their engagement session back in August in Digbeth. Their wedding in September was going to be a relaxed affair – so we wanted the engagement session to be as relaxed.
Every client to me is different and therefore the photography should reflect that – so I try to adapt my style to every couple so that they have a great set of images which reflect them.
An engagement session doesn’t have to last a long time. In this case, it was an hour – which was plenty of time to put the urban backgrounds of the Custard Factory and Digbeth to good use. I love the fact that the area has such diversity – from graffiti walls to bridges under railway arches to green leafy canals.
An engagement session are a great way to get used to being in front of the camera so that it’s not a massive shock on the wedding day.
