Choir at Natalie and Richard's wedding - St Mary's Nantwich by Wedding Photographer John Charlton based in Birmingham, West Midlands

Here at Birmingham based John Charlton Photography we try to bring the image of your wedding day, graduation, christening or yourself to life using the most up to date resources and by understanding that the most important factor that makes the photo is you! A smile can light up an image and a photo is something that will hold a lifetime of happiness for any day or occasion. Your wedding is one of the most important days of your life and this is why we aim is to create work that speaks for itself …. and which is contemporary, stylish and memorable (be it in Birmingham or throughout the UK). Looking good in a photograph can be easy with the right mood, the right light, the correctly positioned camera and a smile that is not only genuine but aimed towards a photographer, not their camera.

The art of photography has existed since 1825, with the first permanent photo being produced by a French inventor called Joseph Nicéphore Niépce. Since then the fascination with recording an image for all time has stuck fast and it is now more common place to take photos than it is to write a letter or even an email! This is why Birmingham based John Charlton Photography are keen to do our best to support a tradition that has been going for over 180 years. We understand the importance of the photograph and it’s place in history for the world, at your wedding and on your mantle piece.
